Ethel Mae Bridges Obituary

Ethel Mae Bridges, age 93 of Cincinnati, OH, passed away at home on Thursday, February 13, 2020. Born in Winfield, TN on November 9, 1926, she was the daughter of the late John Marion Thompson and Ethel Price Thompson. She was a member of Winfield Baptist Church and in later years Charity United Baptist Church in Cincinnati, OH.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darel Bridges; son, Bruce Bridges; twin sister, Etta (George) West; other sisters, Elsie (Reuben) Chitwood, Eva (Russell) Stanley; and three brothers, Escar, Elmon and Odie Thompson.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Keith Bridges of Cincinnati, OH and Bob (Carol) Bridges of Oneida and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Bridges family on Wednesday, February 19, 2020 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Kazee officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield.
