Jewel Newport Obituary

Jewel Dean Newport, age 78 of Robbins, TN passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the Baptist Health Hospital of Corbin, KY. She was born on September 19, 1945, in Sunbright, Tennessee to the late Lee and Oma Honeycutt. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, Jamestown, Tennessee.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters; Betty Jean Honeycutt, Beulah May Gregory, Ruby Lee Aundre, Audrey Lucille Williams, Patsy Ruth Crouch Hinds, Helen Ann Henry; brothers Ralph Joe Milford Honeycutt, Leroy Honeycutt, Gary Delane Honeycutt, and Roger Dale Honeycutt.

She is survived by her husband, Franklin D. Newport; children Jeffery Wade Newport and Marsha Lynn Newport Cosimini; brother Terry Lynn Honeycutt; sisters Joy Estella Parson and Patricia Diane Phillips.

Mrs. Newport’s request was for cremation. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at 11:30 a.m. EST at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness in Jamestown, TN.
