Mary Kathern 'Kitty' Miller

Mary Kathern ‘Kitty’ Ellis Miller, age 85 of the Pine Hill Community of Oneida, TN, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2022.  Born in Elk Valley, TN on May 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Ella Murray Bridges.  She was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church in Oneida.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands:  Hurstle Ellis, and Richard “Dick” Miller; sons:  Warren, Paul, and Donnie Ellis; sister:  Ruth Boggs; and great-grandson:  Zachary Hamilton.

Kitty is survived by her daughters:  Ruthie Walker and husband Wade of Low Gap, and Sharon Kinney of Boston, Massachusetts; son:  Ronnie Ellis and wife Tammy of the Pine Hill Community; brothers:  J.B. Bridges of FL, Everett (Bud) Bridges, Jr. of Morristown, TN;  many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.  

Friends may visit with the Miller family on Monday, August 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker officiating.  Music will be provided by:  David and Felicia Walker, and Arnold Stephens and Brenda West.

Committal service will follow in the Hurstle Ellis Family Cemetery.
