Reta Seiber

Reta Jane Erwin Seiber, age 77 of Oliver Springs, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024, at the Methodist Medical Center of Oak Ridge, TN. She was born in Scott County on March 26, 1946.

Reta was a fun loving, always positive person, helpful when she saw someone in need. She was a great Mamaw who spoiled her children and grandchildren. She was a dedicated caretaker for her son Ramey Seiber.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Seiber; mother, Delphia (Shoemaker) Erwin Newport and stepfather Morris Newport; father, James Calvin Erwin; sister, Loretta Erwin (Curtis) Crabtree; brother, Ray (Shelia) Erwin; two infant brothers; mother and father-in-law, Rosie and Laura Anderson Seiber; brothers-in-law, Beecher, Homer, Tillman, McKinley, Leo, and Thomas Seiber; sister-in-law, Mildred Edwards.

Reta is survived by her daughter, Debbie Kelly and son, Ramey Seiber of Oliver Springs; grandchildren, Logan and Raelyn Kelly, Zachery, Skylar (Alix), and Shameka Seiber; great granddaughter, Delaney Seiber; sisters-in-law, Virginia Erwin of Oneida, Bonnie Seiber of Cleveland, Ohio, and Pearl Seiber of Norris; brother-in-law, Lawrence (Julie) Seiber of Dayton Ohio; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Seiber family on Sunday, February 4, 2024 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Randall Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by Randall Duncan.

Committal service will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
