Wilma Lee Phillips

Wilma Lee Phillips, age 66, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born June 1, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ira and Gladys Roberts South.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her fur baby:  Snowball; mother and father-in-law Polie and Mary Phillips; sisters-in-law:  Edith Chitwood, Reba Bowling, Judy Phillips, Wilma Jean Phillips.

She is survived by her husband:  Polie Leroy Phillips of Winfield, TN; brother-in-law:  Arnold Phillips and wife Jenny of Oneida, TN; sisters-in-law:  Annie Duncan and husband James of Helenwood, TN, Kathleen Phillips and husband of Robert of Helenwood, TN, special sister-in-law:  Josephine Bowling and husband Arthur of Robbins; and many other relatives and friends.

A special thank you is sent to Mountain Peoples Staff, and especially Dr. Kelly West, Destiny and Sue.

Friends may visit with the Phillips family on Thursday, February 25, 2021 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Cole officiating.  Music will be provided by Jamie Bowling.
